Screen Recordings in the Customer Portal (Jira Service Management)

Quick Screen Recordings also works with a Customer Portal (in Jira Service Management)

Your customer can click Add screen recording. This option also available for anonymous users.

Click the Record button to start recording

Now, you should select a screen you want to capture

When you click Share (the name of this button depends on a browser), your screen recording is started.

When you click Stop Recording, a new modal is appeared:

When you click Add Recording, your attachment is added as comment to the request.

Unfortunately, you comment is not appeared automatically, so please refresh the page to see updates.

Project Permissions

If you're using company-managed projects, your customer must have the 'Create Attachment' and 'Create Comment' permissions to work properly.

Browser Permissions

The application requires microphone access to be enabled in the browser for it to function properly.
