Dacha’s Portal Utils: Screens and Fields provides Status Message or Banner feature that works perfectly with Issue Actions.
A Status Message appears at the top of a user's request and can be used to provide information or invite the user to take action.
How to configure?
Like Issue Actions, status messages can be added from the workflow edit page.
Just click on status, then select a checkbox Show custom status message on Customer Portal.
You have to provide message that will be displayed on customer portal.
In current example, the message will be appeared if current request in the Waiting for customer status.
Using with Issue Actions
You can combine Status Messages and Issue Actions.
If there’re issue actions come from status with defined status messages, actions are displayed as buttons inside banner of the top of the page.
